Bunker-play Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Welcome to the Bunker-play Blog hop!

Thanks to the antics of such bad boys as Tiger Woods, Johnny Knoxville, and the movie, Happy Gilmore (gotta love Adam Sandler!!), golf has been put into the spotlight in years of late, bringing it out of the shadows and onto the headlines.

I have to admit, I played as a young girl and loved it. Saturday mornings spent taking my teen aggression out on a hopeless ball--and anyone else silly enough to be on the fairway while I was swinging...FORE!! What was not to love? I even won a prize as the best  female aged 12-16. Okay, I was the only girl in that age group, so won by default...but it counts, right? hehe.

And let's face it. No matter what your opinion of his naughty ways are, Tiger is....bringing sexy back to the game.

Cupid's Revenge was an inspired little novella, for me. I started with a thought, what would happen, if cupid's were humans, hired by heaven...but they got it wrong and chose the wrong person?
And what if the way they delivered their cupid magic, was with a golf club and ball? I have to wonder...was I such a poor shot, sliced so badly, that it has carried over to my muse? Undoubtedly!!

Blurb:
When Heaven bungles their paperwork and recruits the wrong guy as a cupid, who will stop his rampage of revenge?
Ever felt that instant spark when you meet someone you have never seen before? That shot of electricity at the first touch? Or what about an overwhelming sense of déjà vu at a mere glance? No, it’s not love at first sight, but instead it’s the work of a cupid.
Cupids aren’t angels, or the stereotypical cute little cherubs wearing a loincloth and wielding a bow loaded with heart-tipped arrows. Cupids are actually humans, recruited by Heaven for their overwhelming surplus of love within their heart, and gifted with the ability to share a small touch of that love with others—unseen by the human eye as they bring soul-mates together.
But what happens when someone upstairs gets their paperwork mixed up and recruits the wrong person? What happens when the person they recruit has no overflowing amount of love…in fact, they have no love at all within their heart?
Liam is so sick and tired of all the hearts and flowers shit every Valentine’s Day. The build-up to the day…irritating, the actual event…torture. Just for once, he would love to get away from the whole experience. Fate on the other hand has a very sarcastic approach to his plea. An accident at the Heavenly bookkeeping department sees Liam enlisted into the ranks of Creating Unlimited Possibilities Into Destiny…or CUPID for short.
Unable to get a single person to listen to his protests—and teamed with a guy who might actually be cute if he just stopped acting like a kid—he is told to choose his method for deliverance of his love. Liam lets his pissed off attitude choose for him, and revenge on the other cupids becomes his only mission.
This Valentine’s Day, Liam is hunting them down.

And now for the bloghop's Author spotlight - Lily Malone!!

About Lily

Earlier this year, Lily moved from the famous wine region of South Australia, to the equally famous and fabulous wine region that is Margaret River in West Australia. Her gorgeous hubby and two sons (they take after their father) came along for the ride.
Lily took up romance writing in November 2010, after an ill-fated dalliance with colour-field painting that ended when her youngest son put a golf club through the canvas.

She juggles part-time work and family, with writing, and when not writing, likes gardening, walking, wine, and walking in gardens (sometimes with wine).
She has just finished her third published work, Fairway To Heaven, about love on the golf course and lust in the sand bunkers, set in the beautiful beach location of West Australia’s Geographe Bay.
Lily loves to hear from readers and authors. You can find her on Goodreads, and on Facebook, and on Twitter: @lily_lilymalone

Fairway To Heaven - It’s Golf, But Not As You Know It!

One woman’s personal struggle to regain her mojo on a Busselton beach.

The blurb:

When Jennifer Gates drives to Sea Breeze Golf Club to kick off date-night with her boyfriend, the last thing she expects is to find Golf-Pro Jack giving one of his lady students a private—and very personal—lesson in bunker-play.

Lucky for Jenn, her best friend gives her the keys to the Culhane family’s beach shack on the white-pepper shores of Western Australia’s Geographe Bay. Jenn hopes a weekend on the coast with her young son will give her the space she needs to rebuild her confidence after Jack’s betrayal.

But she’s not the only person seeking sanctuary by the sea. Brayden Culhane is there too, and Jenn can’t look at Brayden without remembering the tequila-flavoured kiss they shared on the shack steps years ago.

As long-buried feelings are rekindled, and a friendship is renewed, Jenn knows it is more than lazy summer days bringing her mojo back. Romantic sunsets, ice-cold beers and the odd round of golf can only go so far, because this time, trusting Brayden with her heart won’t be enough.

With all this scullduggery going on, is it any wonder they’ve not got much time for golf?
